Laminate: manufacturing and characteristics technology
The production of the laminate began a long time ago, but it was aimed at making furniture and wall panels. Use this material as a floor covering for a long time, since it was not designed for a dynamic load. Only at the end of the last century, after the necessary calculations of the laminate for strength and wear resistance, the company Perstorp Flooring first launched a laminate into the project as a floor covering.
The durability of this coating is ensured by DVP or MDF plates processed using special technology. Moscow saunas use this technology, as it helps to achieve wear resistance of the surface of the laminate from synthetic resin at high temperature. Additional stiffness of the coating gives a craft paper, which is laid between the stove and the smooth coating. It is possible to maintain the moisture resistance of the material by using aluminum dioxide.
