Halogen lamps (GLN)

Thanks to a special design and inert gas contained inside, such lamps operate up to four times longer than conventional incandescent lamps and shine brighter. Light can be scattered, soft, without sharp changes in light and shadow, and can be narrowly.

Using halogen lamps, it is useful to remember their features. Linear lamps should be placed almost horizontally at an angle of not more than 10 degrees. The temperature of the flask can reach 500 °, therefore, for heat removal, a sufficient distance from the surfaces of the lamp to the surrounding structures and objects should be ensured. Install such lamps in lamps in gloves. For linear lamps, it is important to observe the operating position indicated by the manufacturer.

Halogen lamps designed for a 12 V power voltage should be turned on through a reduction transformer. To extend the service life, use the protection blocks of halogen lamps.
