Hermeting technology for unloading devices
Sealing of unloading devices is usually provided using a coal layer of a constant value or special shutters. The first method is sealed with bunkers for small or medium coal size by installing a hermetic metal pipe, the second – bunkers for breed and large coal. The height of the sealing layer of coal is determined in each case based on a sieve coal analysis, the depression of the mine, the allowable air leaks through the bunker, etc.
To maintain the calculated height of the sealing layer in the bunker, special devices are used, the most reliable of which are isotopic sensors. All holes and openings connecting the inside of the bunker with the atmosphere must be tightly closed.
