The coating includes polyvinyl chloride, it is it that is the main and most expensive component of this coating. So the thicker the PVC layer, the higher the price of linoleum. Linoleum with a thicker layer of polyvinyl chloride has, respectively, and a higher wear resistance. And here it is important not to overpay.

Be sure to ask the seller about the thickness of the PVC layer. The thinnest (0, 15 mm) is best suited for flooring in living rooms and in the bedrooms. For the dining room and children’s room, manufacturers advise buying linoleum with a PVC layer thickness 0, 20 mm. For the most, as they say, passing places – kitchen and hallway, there will be just a thickness of 0, 25 millimeters.
