In Paris, you can only pay in cash in euros. Moreover, some stores will not take 500 and 200 euro notes, so it is better to stock up on smaller bills.
France is part of the European Union, so a visa is required to travel to Paris. Entry into the country in 2023 is possible with a national or any Schengen visa. Check that your passport is valid for at least three months from the end of the trip. It is better to submit documents no later than a month before the trip.
