How different types of putty are different
Universal putty – for all occasions! They include components of various mixtures, including self -leveling putty. The deeper division of putty by type involves their attribution to cement and gypsum. The putty of walls on a cement basis is applied to wallpaper and has a predominantly grayish shade after processing, which, of course, is a minus, especially if it is necessary to glue translucent light wallpapers. But such a putty has its own advantages – it is more durable than gypsum.
The mixture on a gypsum basis is perfect for finishing work inside the buildings, since after drying it has a pleasant white color. In order to prevent the spread of the fungus and mold on the wall, before applying putty, warm the wall with special antiseptic agents. This will also achieve better putting putty to the wall.
