Wooden flooring technology
The annual layers of wood should lie in different directions, especially with the flooring of boards with a large width. Lailed boards must be fixed with 100 mm nails, which must be driven under a small bias to the floor surface.
There should be a distance of no more than two centimeters between the last board and the wall. Such gaps will serve as ventilation, otherwise, the coating will begin to deteriorate soon. After all the boards are laid, the distance between them and the wall must be closed with skirting boards. In order for the baseboard to last a longer time, you should choose those that are made of their coniferous woods.
